Integrated induction cooktop gives you a separate high-heat surface for pans, searing and side dishes.

P.A.L. and ModiFIRE® compatibility allows extensive customisation of storage and cooking accessories.
Pellet Grill and Induction Cooking in One
The integrated induction cooktop is one of the Timberline’s biggest differences from the Ironwood range. It lets you sear in a pan, heat sauces, cook vegetables or prepare side dishes while the main chamber handles low-and-slow or roasting duties.
For reverse-seared steak, for example, you can smoke the meat gently in the pellet chamber and finish it over high heat on the induction side burner without leaving the outdoor cooking area.
Built for Serious Low-and-Slow Barbecue
Super Smoke® Mode, insulated construction and Smart Combustion™ make the Timberline well suited to brisket, beef ribs, pork shoulder and other long cooks. WiFIRE® adds remote monitoring so you can check progress and adjust settings from the Traeger App.
Timberline vs Ironwood
The Ironwood offers many premium pellet-grill features, including Super Smoke®, WiFIRE®, Smart Combustion™ and EZ-Clean™. The Timberline adds a more premium overall build and, importantly, the integrated induction side burner. Choose Ironwood if you mainly want premium pellet smoking; choose Timberline if you want the broader outdoor cooking station.
Timberline vs Timberline XL
Both models share the same flagship technology and induction cooking concept. The Timberline XL is the larger option with substantially more cooking capacity. The standard Timberline is better suited to buyers who want the flagship feature set but do not need the XL footprint.
Who Is the Traeger Timberline Best For?
- Serious backyard pitmasters
- Premium outdoor kitchens and alfresco areas
- Low-and-slow cooks who also want high-heat induction searing
- Entertainers wanting one complete outdoor cooking station
- Buyers who want Traeger’s flagship technology
