Hot Things BBQ School is the heart of our barbecue community. Our pitmasters share knowledge gained through years of cooking, competing and experimenting with live fire. Some classes centre on demonstrations and discussion, while others offer opportunities to get involved. Every class is about learning, enjoying great food and sharing the BBQ love.

Hot Things BBQ School operates in a dedicated outdoor cooking area alongside our Balcatta showroom, using a variety of gas, charcoal, kamado and pellet barbecues.
We don't expect you to be an expert when you arrive. That's what the class is for.

Do I need any BBQ experience?
Not at all. Our classes welcome beginners as well as more confident backyard cooks looking to improve.
Where is Hot Things BBQ School?
At Hot Things, 13/30 Erindale Road, Balcatta, Perth, Western Australia. The School has its own dedicated outdoor barbecue area alongside the store.
How long do classes run?
Our regular public classes generally run from 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturdays. Check the individual listing when you book for its exact start time and details.
Where do I book?
Class dates, availability, vouchers and bookings are handled through our separate Hot Things BBQ School website.
